Great food..great service..one of my favorite places to eat

I jad the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs tasted like they were a day old. The noodles were so soggy that i couldn't even finish it.

Great place to enjoy a meal. Breakfast, lunch, or dinners are well prepared and affordable.

Go here often. Great service, good food and good prices. Portions are huge! Eggs Benedict with hash browns and onions are to die for. Several choices but I always get the one with the olives...can't remember the specific name.

Food was good, waitress was friendly. Cold in there though. Wear a sweater.

Service is mediocre at best and the quality of nothing beyond average.The server provided one if the most basic functions and still only came over two or three times. The food took a while and came out cold. Eggs, bacon, and pancakes felt like they were under a light for a while and went cold by the time it got to the table. First and last time for me.

The food was not what I ordered. Such as no onions in my home fries. I had onions in my home fries, the food was cold, the eggs were very runny and cold. You may ask why I didnt send it back.... because it took 35 minutes just to get it in the first place.. will not return to this restaurant. The waitress was okay but never came back to check on me and ask me how my food was..

Pretty standard diner fare. Restaurant itself is well kept and always clean, service is always efficient, and prices and portion sizes are very fair.

Waitresses are absolutely amazing! So helpful and kind. My client comes here almost every morning. They all know his name what he wants and where he sits. If any of the food isn't how you want it or up to par, they fix it without hesitation! The food is pretty good for a mom and pop restaurant. I would recommend anyone to go!

Great Family Restaurant. Love it. Found along my travels. However, they do not open until 8:30am (hours not posted outside and are wrong online). got there at 6am and waited. 12 people came and left upset which is about $50,000 a year in missed business. 10 bucks a customer time 12 of them times 30 days a month times 12 months. Plus people that never even bother to come back ever.

Good food in generous portions at reasonable prices. Clean, good service. Just wish they still had a veggie burger on the menu.

Food was pretty good. Restraunt was clean. Service lacked to the point we spent over 10 mins trying to waive down our waitress for a bill. They were busy & understaffed at the time to be fair. We'll give them another try.

The chicken parmesan was yummy. The only part that I found strange, was that it was served with a bag of potatoe chips. Maybe a small bowl of salad would be better.

My favorite place to go for breakfast in Newark. Great food for great prices and lots of seating options. All of the staff is very friendly too.

We had the best waitress ever. She understood the challenges of dining with young children and was very gracious. The food was delicious, as usual. They have a wide variety of choices on their menu, and I have never been disappointed in my several visits there. We had fish fry, chicken alfredo, pancakes, hot dog, and chicken gyros. The kids dinners came with ice cream!

My husband and I ventured to Newark from Waterloo and the trip was well worth it! Best Prime Rib and Veal around! The staff was attentive, pleasant, and quick. Our meals came fast and were very generous portions! Compliments to the Chef! Our waitress Elizabeth was pretty awesome too! The Lyons Family has found our new favorite Restaurant!

Hometown diner. The food is good and fairly priced. A full menu of breakfast all day to dinners.

They have really good food. Never had a bad experience and have been eating there for quite a few years.

I didn't even want to give them a star, but it requires at least one to make the post. Completely rude about the fact that we didn't have masks on, but waited to be rude until we were leaving. Receive payment and then be rude. That's really good customer service. I won't be giving them any business in the future. Not only were they rude, but they chose to be rude to my wife who was taking my little children to the bathroom. Not recommended!!!!
